Installing an Add-on in Thunderbird

Install from a Downloaded XPI File

Bundle Add-on Download: slabsreport-v1.1.0.zip

Follow these steps to install it manually:

Download

1. Visit the provided link in your browser.
2. Right-click the download link and select Save Link As….
3. Save the XPI file to an easily accessible location on your computer (e.g., the Downloads folder or Desktop).
4. If using an older version of Firefox, avoid left-clicking the link, as the browser might try to install the add-on into Firefox instead.

Installing the XPI File

Method 1: Install from File

1. Open Thunderbird.
2. Click the menu button ☰ and select Add-ons.
3. Click the Cogwheel ⚙️ icon next to the search box.
4. Select Install Add-on From File….
5. Locate the downloaded XPI file and select it.
6. Confirm the installation and restart Thunderbird if prompted.

Method 2: Drag-and-Drop

1. Open Thunderbird.
2. Navigate to the Add-ons Manager.
3. Drag the downloaded XPI file into the Add-ons Manager tab.
4. Drop it to initiate the installation.
5. Restart Thunderbird if necessary.
